Terraria Review!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!

Firstly we need to get the pre-made misconceptions cleared and out of the way. Minecraft and Terrari, although they have some similar elements, are two very different games.

Good
All anybody can talk about at the moment!
Customisable attributes to make your character stand out.
Strong bosses to attempt to defeat – will keep you playing for hours!
Although it is a sandbox game, it gives you many reasons to go hunting and explore.
The use of 16-bit pixelated graphics means that pretty much any computer can run Terraria and experience it for themselves!
Re-Logic have added the function of being able to play as a side-scrolling action-adventure game or like a toy that they can play with for hours on end.

Bad
Limited options for building your in-game character – strange considering the vision of the game.
Controls may take some getting used to for some players, especially if used to traditional controls.
As the game relies on servers, the process of joining other peoples’ games can become tedious.

Ugly
There are many, many more pros than cons for this game, which is unsurprising given that it is Terraria we are talking about. It captures you, compels you to play, and convinces you to not to cease playing even if you have already invested several days!
