The great music, graphics for it’s time, and unique gameplay makes it worth the simple $8.
Breath of Fire II

Secret of Mana
Another over-shadowed SNES RPG, Secret of Mana was another great game. Even better, you could play with a second player! A great RPG, and also underrated, and for only $8, a great game.
Super Mario Bros.
What? This game, you may say, is old, has poor graphics, and takes 5 minutes to complete. That is the stereotypical graphic buff – but if you sit down to play the game, you’ll realize that at the time, the graphics were great, the platforming never gets old no matter how many times you play it, and think about it – how many people do you know that have completed this game? Not too many … obviously it does not take 5 minutes. For only $5? Worth it.
