Batman: Arkham Asylum – Sets a Guiness World Record
Batman: Arkham Asylum has been recently proclaimed by the Guiness Book of World Records as the "most critically acclaimed superhero game ever"…
Well it comes as no surprise that Batman: Arkham Asylum has snagged the title “The most critically acclaimed superhero game ever” from the Guiness book of world records. This is because on average the game snagged about 91.67% reviews, very high marks indeed, from top review sites.
With the game centred around a hunt for Batman’s nemesis, the Joker, gorgeous graphics, and a constant search for clues Batman: Arkham Asylum’s accolades are well deserved. While the combat may have suffered for being overly simplistic, the plot and the dialogue is superlative, probably with much kudos to Paul Dini, who is most famous for being the creator of “Batman: The Animated Series.”
You basically suit up as the Dark Knight, tracking the Joker like a bloodhound, picking up clues, and beat up bad guys along the way. There is also a nice twist involving the Riddler. But you have to play the game to find out what it is.
In the end, it is no riddle that Batman: Arkham Asylum has captivated gamers all over, and has earned itself a place in the Guiness Book of World Records.
Try it out, and let the game speak for itself.
