Battlefield: Heroes

Battlefield Heroes is a brand new cartoon style shooter produced by EA. This game will lead the way for electronic arts new “Play for Free” platform. Battlefield Heroes will be available for free download as soon as possible. (My guess: Feb-March 09″.

When playing battlefield heroes you will be playing against anyone in your same skill level making the game more enjoyable. The new closed beta has just opened again so go sign up!

On battlefield-heroes there are many ways to customize your character. Like choosing a class (eg. a solider). The classes will vary with different weapons and ability. Ranks and experience will be earned through out the game until the top rank of captain is reached (30).  Soldiers have very equal properties, basically they are good for any situation. Commandos are sneaky characters. They use a combination of close and long range attacks. Gunners are strong slow characters with big guns. They have increased health, but have less accuracy. Battlefield heroes plays in third person so you customized character is front stage.

Update: The Game is said to be in open beta in mid February.

On the site there are forums for you to chat to other people waiting for the game. Sometimes you’ll find something interesting. Also the site was temporally offline but is now back up. They have fixed all the main bugs and have polished the back end of the game. A low quality version will be available for slower, or older machines. I suggest low detail if your computer lags allot.
