Suikoden is a role playing game that is based on the 108 stars of destiny, They also include themes of politics, corruption, revolution and magic runes of power, also known as the 27 true runes. In all games you have a main character which you control and your aim is to rise up against an enemy despite overwhelming odds against you by recruiting 108 stars of destiny (the stars are people) all though you do not have to recruit 108 star it makes the game a lot more enjoyable and longer plus depending how many you recruit you get different endings to the games. To bring peace to the land and her people.

Turn based combat, you go then your opponent

Recruit 108 other characters, you get to do lots of mini quest to recruit them

Grow your Headquarters, as the story progresses and as you recruit more people.

War battles, use strategy to beat the enemy in epic war battles

One on one Duels, against other main characters in the game.

6 player groups, you can have 6 other character in a fight and running around with you at a time.

Data transferable between games.

Overall suikoden series are a bunch of great games that last for ages and provide a huge amount of entertainment. The only catch with these games are they are relatively expensive in perfect or New condition they are worth: Suikoden 1 $150, Suikoden 2 $300, Suikoden 3 $80, Suikoden 4 $60, Suikoden Tactics $30 and Suikoden 5 $50 this adds up to $670 for the whole series. However if you buy second hand it will be relatively cheaper.
