A. Requirements

The High alch spell can be casted at lvl 55 magic – this spell turns items into gold you need 1 nature rune and a fire staff (or runes but not recommended) and something to alch.

A lot of money is required to do this method of alching but the return is you only lose a little bit of money if you don’t make money (like I am).

B. What to alch?

Well anything that can be traded can be alched but what you want to look for is what fits in your price range so you can do a lot of alches to gain the most xp (the point of alching).

The items I look for are mostly dragon hide items because for some reason they are always lower then their high alch value, which in return means your lose less money so you can keep buying alches.

C. Making Money (or losing as little as possible)

With today’s prices in the Grand Exchange the things I am alching are blue d’hide body and  green d’hide body. by chooseing these i can buy my nature runes for 240gp ea and i can buy green bodys for 4425gp each

(Note: These are NOT market price, that means this will take some time to get all of the bodies)

240 + 4425 = 4665gp

Green d’hide body High alch value =4680gp – 4665gp = 15gp

That is a profit of 15gp each alch

Now I know 15gp doesn’t sound like much but… you’re making a profit where most times you alch you lose around 100gp each alch

The best way to pick a item is to look at the high alch price of a item in Tip.it’s item database which is here

And check the Grand Exchange’s price for your items here –

D. Formula

Then use this formula to calculate your profit/loss

(High Alch value of item) – (Price of nature) – (Price you bought item)
