Call of Duty: Black Ops – The Reveal
A new game for the Call of Duty franchise has been unveiled, entitled Black Ops.
Call of Duty is probably one of the most well known video game franchises in the world. With the most recent release, Modern Warfare 2 alone having sold over 14 million copies, it is unquestionable that Call of Duty remains a massively popular video game franchise.
The most recent announcement regarding Call of Duty is for a new game from Treyarch, the less well known of the two Call of Duty developers (with Infinity Ward claiming the fame for Modern Warfare), called Black Ops.

With very little known about Call of Duty: Black Ops beyond a release date and a title, the Call of Duty community is waiting eagerly for the first trailer to see what the game is like. Gametrailers TV is expected to be breaking the first footage at 12:40 AM later today. The show will be streamed live, allowing fans of Call of Duty to see the footage as soon as it is released.
The GAME website is also accepting pre-orders already, and with the release date of Black Ops being so nearby this comes as no surprise.
In the official press release, Treyarch’s Head has been quoted as saying:
“We can’t wait for our community to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops. We have focused our entire studio on this game, with dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op teams creating the most intense, gripping and riveting experience possible for our fans on all fronts.”
In the meantime, the Call of Duty: Black Ops website has already gone live allowing fans of Call of Duty who are awaiting Call of Duty: Black Ops to sign up for a newsletter so they can keep up to date with all the latest news, either by the Call of Duty: Black Ops blog, or through an email newsletter.
