Call of Duty Three
A review of “Call Of Duty 3″.
Once you know what you’re supposed to do, it is actually quite a smooth sailing, and easy for the most part on the default setting. There are a few difficult parts, and some cool things to happen in the story mode, like planting bombs in buildings, which usually marks the end of the mission, or getting close to the end.
A huge positive of this game is that there are checkpoints where the game automatically saves, so you don’t lose your current progress. I was very impressed with that feature.
I put this game in after I had placed Guitar Hero 2 in my disk tray for about a week because I was slightly getting bored of Guitar Hero.
Am I ever glad I did!
This game has some of the most aweing graphics I have ever seen, even though it was my second Xbox game I had played. The Treyarch team clearly put graphics and gameplay on the same level, and it was a phenominal experience.
Whether it’s from the explosions, or a teammate talking to you, the graphics in this game are crystal clear, but sometimes the game will freeze up, especially if you’re listening to music, and you’ll have to reboot the system.
Good thing that there are plenty of save points.
The online community in this video game is next to orgasmic. The first time I had entered Xbox Live, I was greeted by a very nice community in Call of Duty 3. Although some people are arrogant assholes on any game, they’re bound to show up on Call of Duty.
The online gameplay is also amazing. From your game of ‘Capture The Flag’, which is a classic, to ‘War’, which is a game where you must capture five flags to win, is amazing.
The ranked system however, is a flaw, because if you do really well, it won’t move, and if you do not so good in an online game, it’ll seem to drop or raise.
The online games are very responsive, and suprisingly not laggy, even though 24 players may be on a map.
