Evolution Online- Persistent World Simulation Game

My latest project is a persistent world simulation game in which the player does not really interact with the world itself. Instead the player teaches and trains a character in the world, which then goes adventuring, gathering resources, hunting, crafting and many other activities on their own, guided by what their player has taught them.

This new game is called Evolution Online and is currently in early engine development. A playable version will be available Summer 2009. This does not mean that you cannot actively participate in its development already – in the contrary, you will be able to decide which features will be implemented next by submitting you ideas to the development voting system. Your submissions will first undergo a sanity check by a developer (to see if it can be implemented) after which other users can vote it. Developers will then implement the most-voted features as development continues.

I will keep updating our readers with the latest news, gossip and development status of this new online experience on a daily basis. You will also soon be able to subscribe to the newsletter.
