Evony-Civony – Invading

This is a simple guide on invading other cities, or barbarian cities. This is not a guide on conquering, for a guide on conquering go to this guide I’ve written:

Invading other cities is a simple way to gain resources and gold. There are some key things to remember though. For beginners, when attacking a city that has archer towers make sure to outnumber the towers with archers at the ratio of 10:1 (10 archers per archer tower) for minimal casualties. It is a good plan to do multi-hits, if after resources send in workers/transports WITH the strongest wave, with high enough troops to take out most of the defenses.

When attacking a barbarian city, simply do one hit, as high powered as possible, taking transports or workers with you to raid the gold. For a table showing what level cities have what amounts of resources go here: http://bbs.evony.com/showthread.php?t=5450

When attacking a player city, it is important you send some lower-class units to take out traps, then send the bigger force in another wave, this means your better units won’t get taken out by the traps. This is a short guide but I hope it will be helpful to some of the players out there.
