Evony The Newest Gaming Craze

Evony is becoming a very widely popular game in the online gaming world.  It is similar to tribal wars and other that require you to build a city and defend it.  This game is not very complex to start playing. It does require, however, a good bit of common sense.  I have found this game to be very time consuming as you level up.  The graphics are not as in depth detail as other online games, but are still excellent.  This really isn’t bad considering it is a browser based game.

                In the beginning it is a good idea to find an alliance to join.  This normally have some experienced players that can aid you in growing your city.  I managed to find one that had a player that has been playing for a long time, therefore, making it easier to find answers to my questions.  When I joined my alliance our host gave me a URL to a guide that made gaining prestige and growing my city a lot easier.  If you have a very experienced host of your alliance then you can ask all sorts of questions to them.  The less experienced the host the harder the game can be.

                At first when developing or growing your city you are given a town hall.  It is important to start building cottages.  I recommend building only 9 for your city.  This is because later you will need to train a military and need plenty of room for 9 barracks.  Along the way you will have quests to finish and receive rewards.  In the first 7 days of your city you are awarded Beginner’s protection.  This means that you cannot and will not be attacked in that timeframe.  Also as you are developing your city in the beginner’s protection, building your resources is very important.  The more resources you have the more you can upgrade.  Your resources include iron mines, farms, quarries, and sawmills.  The higher these are the more you can produce for your city.  Also to improve your resources you will need to build an academy.  An academy allows for you to conduct research to improve production of resources for your city.  An academy also allows for training of your military and to improve various other aspects of the game. 

                This might sound like a very technical game, but really it isn’t.  Once you get started and really get into it the game takes on a life of its own.  Evony is not hard to master and it is actually quite fun to see how much you can really conquer on your own.  And just think you have an alliance to back you if you need it.  War is a big part of this game and can often lead to feuds between two or more alliances.  This just enhances the whole game play experience. If you need help feel free to look me up on Server 83 and the name is princessmeg.
