Evony Your Own Kingdom Waiting to Happen

Evony is a world domination game involving may different strategies and alliances.

It is evolved in such a way that you do not have to be “on the game” to be “in the game”, it is a continuous programme run in cyber space if you like which will run and run regardless of what you are doing in the real world.

Having over 62 different servers there is scope for all gamers to join in.

Those who have never been involved with this domination type of game will find the early part of getting into the game easy and informative.

let us start with the basics…

The idea is to build and fortify your own city within a medieval background, as such you are transported back to the days before reason into the twilite world of lords ladies masters and surfs. By building up your towns accommodation and work environment you attract citizens(population) they in turn provide wealth for your town and provisions/resources to build and expand. Many unitary buildings can and should be built to grow the wealth of your town/city. Things such as a Town hall and barracks along with an academy/workshop and foundry are essential to growing numbers of population and ultimately troops, not only for defence but attack!

Before you get that far however you may be wondering how on earth do I do that?

The answer is in the Quest. A simplistic guideline designed to help you make the most of what you have in a short a time as possible. When first enrolling to play at EVONY.COM you are given seven days grace which is an immunity from attack by other players more experienced in the game.During that time it is possible to build up your resources and have fortifications in place (walls and traps/towers etc) along with a fair sized army to ward of offending troops.

Fear not those who think you must be on-line 24/7 because of the way the game is constructed you only need to visit for say 1 hour a day during the first week to establish your self. of course longer visits would mean a greater impact after the first week but I find an hour a day with a new city is ample just by following the Quest.

While you are away from Evony your city does not sleep,it is like New York as there is always something happening. The tasks you set your players I.E. harvesting,logging,digging,building continue when you log out. this means that should something take 24 hrs to build you can set it going then forget it.

Likewise when recruiting your troops they do take up time as well as resources so you can set the process away and forget about it knowing that when you next log in the troops will be available to you. Options are available to all players to improve their standing within the game by winning/earning prestige points and ultimately promotion to the highest echelons of society, as yet I have not reached higher than 5,000th player within my world of players but considering I have only played for a month and there are something close to 50,000 players on my server I don’t think that this is too bad.

Other things to look out for are the alliances which can and should also be made, by joining forces with a strong alliance within your own world it is possible to run up the ladder rather than walk or crawl up it alone .I recommend this game to each and everyone reading this no matter what their age or orientation there are as many females as males playing and as for the age?

You are only as old as you feel.
