Diablo Three Review

With the upcoming beta test of Diablo 3, players of diablo an diablo 2 are in for a well rounded upgrade to there most coveted games. Featuring a new game engine that’s able to run stunning 3D graphics with large amounts of demons and a new dynamic environment that can be destroyed and used to inflict massive amounts of damage to Your enemies. The spectacular special effects with the new Diablo 3 game engine also players to lay waste to hordes of demons in ways only imagined.

The new lush 3D graphics opens up the World of Diablo to many features that were not yet availble in the original diablo series. Being rated R, Diablo 3 defiantly lives up to the rating with Blood splattering kills, massive hordes of demons an Giant Monsters that so realistic they could very well give You nightmares. The world around You is a live, this gives new ways to kill the horde of hells minions, by allowing You for example to knock a wall on top of the approaching foe or defend Yourself by letting an object take the damage

Game play is very similar to the original diablo’s, with the obvious update in graphics. There are Dozens of new speical skills to learn, hundreds of new minions, demons an monster to face. A Whole new world to explore with many dark dungeons to loot and plunder an entirely new system to gain health. Play, Build Yourself up, face off against each other, or join forces to fight minions or go after Diablo himself in this action packed onslaught.

Diablo 3 Character Classes

The Witch Doctor is a new character class introduced to Diablo 3. This new class features some great abilities, the most notable is the ability to raise the dead or call on spirits to attack foes. The witch doctor’s main attacks use many forms of powder an elixirs to wreck havoc on enemies by creating large burst of fire or spreading diseases an poison. Some of the Witch Doctors attacks are Soul Harvest, Locust Swarm, Horrify, Fire Bomb an Mass Confusion and some that have yet to be released.

The Barbarian is not a new class in Diablo 3, but just like in the original diablo it’s the tank of all the character classes. Barbarians use physical attacks to devastate there enemies with a multitude of different weapons, featuring common skills like Whirlwind, Leap, Ground Stomp, Seismic Slam, Cleave an other skills not released. The Barbarian is a formidable warrior class that offers up close combat.

The Wizard is the spell caster of the classes which replaces the old elementalist an probably the ranger class of playable characters in Diablo 3. This class of Wizards solely relies on there magic abilities an spells to attack and defend them selves. Some of there attack skills are released so far are Electrocute, Disintegrate and Magic Missiles. The Wizards also have the ability to defend with skills such as Teleport that allows You to instantly disappear an reappear at a different location or Slow Time, which slows down incoming enemy attacks. The powerful Wizard class is more or less a long range type attacker from what has been released so far.

The Monk is a new addition to the diablo series of games. This class uses more of a hand to hand type of attack and offers both close an long range attacks, mixed with super speed an abilities to defend from and make attacks in an instant. Some of the attack skill the Monk wields are Crippling Wave, Exploding Palm, Seven Sided Strike, an Way of the Hundred Fists. The Monk also features Impenetrable Defense, which causes all attacks to bounce back an hit the attacking foe.

There is a fifth character class, that has not yet been released by Blizzard Entertainment, we can only wonder what it will be. Maybe a class of demons an angels or the classic ranger will be making it’s third apperance in the Diablo series. What ever the new class will be, it should be interesting an something not seen before.

Some of the evil minions players will face in Diablo 3 are the Fallen Ones a race of the demonic order, the Unburied an Undead beings comprised of different roating body parts from the dead or the Dune Threshers an Scavengers are monsters able to borrow an attack when You least expect it. This is only a small portion of the massive hordes of monster an demons released by blizzard thus far.

As far as weapons an armor there has been little information released on specific types, but from what we know of the original Diablo games, there is a certainty that there will be an endless combination, with better sets of weapons an armor dropping from higher level Foes. From the video previews some armors have flames an weapons glow with different colors, we can expect to have the basic types of weapons like swords, shields, staffs, etc. an with special features like freeze an fire, each weapons attack does a special type of damage, that can cause a condition like dazed or stunned.

Information about player v.s. player has also been lacking, the only thing we do know is about the co-op mode, were players can fight along side each other against the horde of demons an monsters. I’m guessing the pvp will be similar to the original style found in other diablo games. Hopefully Diablo 3 players v.s. players will have more interactive games like capture the flag or take the fort, it really has to be something on a massive scale to compete with other games.

If You liked Diablo 1 & 2. Your really going to enjoy playing Diablo 3. It is almost a carbon copy of the originals, the game play has pretty much remained the same, but with bigger battles against giant enemy swarms an hordes of minions of all different shapes an sizes. The amazing graphics that have developed over the years have been implemented to create a gory realism when cutting down enemy foes or crushing anything in Your way. The visual graphics an new set of special skills an abilities the character classes hold will leave You addicted an playing for hours battling through this interactive world.
