Five Games That Need to be Made

I don’t care about if the technology isn’t advanced enough for us to pull one of these off, they just need to be made someday eventually.

World of Starcraft

Starcraft was one of the most popular games made. It was a great franchise and was played for years. Because people have want to have a second game made blizzard announced that they would be making a Starcraft 2. This is great, but I think they should make a World of Starcraft. Because the franchise is so great and that it is set in a futuristic time, it would make a great first person shooter game. First person shooter games are one of the most popular genres of games today. People jump over the newest, greatest shooter game. World of Starcraft could be a massive multiplayer online first person shooter, or even just a regular shooter game with the ability to fight online as well. They attempted to do this awhile ago in a game called Starcraft Ghost. Sadly the game was cancelled. They could just go back and finish Starcraft Ghost and I would still be happy.

Stargate Shooter game

This is Stargate, not Starcraft. Totally different franchise. Stargate is a television show based about a team of military people who go through a devise called a stargate to get to other planets. A game made after this would be incredible. The show has great action and wonderful adventures that they could easily piece together to create a video game. There are many races in the show which would open up the ability to play as many characters. Also there are many weapons and even some cool space vessels in the game. Part of the game could be space battles. I am aware of the online game Stargate Worlds that will be coming out, and I will definitely get it, but it is more focused on a mmorpg type of deal rather than a fast paced shooter game. Also I am aware of Stargate Alliance which was this idea exactly only cancelled. I do not know why they cancelled it, but they shouldn’t have.

MMORTS

MMORTS stands for massive multiplayer online real time strategy. Real time strategy games are games like Starcraft, Warcraft, or Mediaeval 2. Having a game like this be online would be insane. What I mean by online is that you constantly have you town, village, empire, or whatever sitting there even after you log off. The game could be futuristic. You would start out on a planet with some resources and a tiny army, and eventually you will expand and either make treaties or war with your neighboring empires. Even after you log off you can still be attacked. You army will defend you and they will get a bonus for you not being there to watch. This way each time you log on, it will be a surprise if you lose anything or just gained more resources.

MMOFPS

A massive multiplayer first person shooter game would be a lot of fun. I know that there are already some games like this already, but its not how I think they should be. Instead of an mmofps being similar to an mmorpg, it should be just like a first person shooter game. When you make your account you sign up to be in a certain army. Maybe in this game, USA, Russia, China, and the UK are fighting a war. You can choose who you want to be and then you are put in the army as the lowest rank. You will fight battles with your army just as if you were in a regular FPS game. The only difference is that it will be like an mmorpg in the since that if you wanted to you could walk from Russia to China if you wanted to. Of course the distance will be much shorter than it is in real life. But players would not want to do this because they would get in trouble with their own army, or they would get killed by another. Players can work their way up to the highest rank in the military. As this rank they can command troops. Administrators will act as presidents giving orders on where to attack and who to attack. NPC’s will act as other little countries who can have their own army aswell.

Online Sports Game

This would be a cool game as well. People can go online and create an account and then create a sports team. This could work for games like football, basketball, or whatever else. This would be similar to fantasy football only it would play like a Madden game. After a player makes a team he or she can train some of the players in mini games and then they will be set up with other players and play against them. There can be a whole franchise going up to the Super Bowl. Players can create a team name, team logo, player names, and customize their own jersey and stadium.
