GMOD 10: How to Make a Wired Follower

I will show you how to make a robot that follows you in gmod 10 it isn’t too complicated so you should be able to keep up if you aren’t a total beginner at wire.

Lets start off with the easy bits, spawn any prop you want just remember it cant be too heavy or it won’t move as fast i suggest a 2×1 phx rectangle.

Now we are ready to start placing the main components onto you’re following robot.

1. First a wire gps on the front of your prop (you can choose what you want to be the front)

2. Next a wire vector thruster on the back of your prop (force multiplyer 10,000, and make sure to click the dropdown arrow and choose XYZ world)

3. Now place three subtract chips somewhere onto the prop lets name them X, Y and Z

4. Under wire- beacon spawn a beacon sensor and a target finder (tick target players on the target finder, and tick output gps co-ords on the beacon sensor)

We have now finished placing all the components we need onto the prop, we can now begin the wiring.

6. Wire the beacon sensors target to the target finders 1

7. Wire vector thruster X to the subtract chip you called X

8. Wire vector thruster Y to the subtract chip you called Y

9. Wire vector thruster Z to the subtract chip you called Z

10. Wire the X subtract chip’s A to Beacon sensors World_X

11. Wire the Y subtract chip’s A to Beacon sensors World_Y

12. Wire the Z subtract chip’s A to Beacon sensors World_Z

13. Wire X subtract chip to GPS X

14. Wire Y subtract chip to GPS Y

15. Wire Z subtract chip to GPS Z

It should now work and if it dosen’t go back and try again or give up like an ostrich, AND if it did congratulations! you have made a wired follower that you can use for whatever you want knowing that you made it yourself.
