Guild Wars Guides: Maxing The Deldrimor Title Track

This guide shows you how to max the Deldrimor faction title.

Want to know how to max your Deldrimor Title Track  in Guild Wars? THIS is your ultimate (well, almost anyway) guide!

Lingo:
EOTN = Eye of the North
Dwarf Points = Deldrimor faction points.
Handbook = Player’s Handbook (no duh?)

Preparing Yourself:

Get your character into EOTN and finish the storyline. This usually gives you SOME Dwarf points during the quest, plus it gives access to Hard Mode(!). You can ignore this, but it gives you access to all the dungeons.

Getting to Rank 8:

Complete all the Dwarf quests that give Deldrimor faction points. This usually takes you only about half a day, or a few days if you have a schedule and a life (yes, we do all have a life, including me, even though I’m a nerd for writing this). Okay. Done that? Now complete ALL the dungeons in Normal Mode (carry a Dungeon Book) with you.

If you still haven’t done that, what I suggest is doing normal handbooks until you reach r7. Then, max out a Hard Mode handbook and go do a few Secret Lair of the Snowmen dungeon repeats until you reach the ABSOLUTE top-end (where about only 1-300 points remain). Then hand in the book and you’ll be well into R8, or even R9.

Getting to Rank 10:

This is the hard part, but mainly only because of its tedious and longevity. Also, remember that you CANNOT get points in Normal Mode any more (although you can still get the buffs from killing 25 enemies).

Method used:
Complete every dungeon in Hard Mode (again, bringing a Hard Mode handbook). Collect the bounties to get the points. Hand in the book at Central Transfer Chamber.  Done this? Alright. You should be R10 by now. Congratz.

In the case that you didn’t get R10 though, which is quite likely, then you can do these to get your rank 10:

Complete Hard Mode Handbooks and hand them in. This should get you to R10 in about roughly 1-3 books.

Farm Secret Lair of the Snowmen in Hard Mode. This is a really slow way, but if you do this you can get FREE party points out of the end chest. Each run takes about 15-20 minutes topside, depending if you have a good team setup. If you have a really rubbish team setup, it’ll take about half an hour. It’s easy to H/H it, even in Hard Mode, because all the Snowmen still have the same skills.
Do another Dungeon Handbook in HM. This isn’t really recommended because the dungeons in Hard Mode are (obviously) quite hard, unless you have an Imbagon + complete damage removal. Then there’s the issue of outdamaging the healing, etc.

Get lots and lots of runs for Cathedral of Flames. The normal cost is 2k, meaning you get profit from the end chest (and completing the quest also). Of course, this is all in Hard Mode.

Once you do this, you should be R10. Congratz! :D

Happy gaming! Hope you enjoyed the guide.
