How to Find a Razor Fang in Pokemon Black and White
Wanting to evolve a certain gliding pokemon? Then you need to know how to find a Razor Fang in Pokemon Black and White. Find out here!
In order to evolve Gligar into Gliscor, a powerful flying- and ground-type pokemon that’s perfectly capable as serving as a sweeper in Pokemon Black and White, you must first beat the main game game. Defeat the Elite Four, then trounce the plans of Team Plasma and its mastermind, Ghetsis.
After the credits have rolled, leave home and head north to Route 1. You’ll find a beach on the route that will lead, when you Surf, to Routes 17 and 18. Go west from here and follow these routes all the way to the western tip of Route 18, where you’ll discover a new HM – Waterfall. Snag this, as well as the nearby Team Plasma Sage, then head back home.
Fly to Nimbasa City further north and proceed east along the new routes that have opened up. As you’re wandering this direction you’ll eventually come to either Black City or White Forest, depending on your version of tgame game (Black or White, respectively). While you’re here, pick a pokemon that can learn Waterfall, teach the pokemon the move and leave the city/forest along the north route.
You’re now on Route 14. Go east along this route until you can Surf, then hop in the water and begin ascending the waterfalls of the area. Surf back west along the water until you can descend to the base water level again. Do so and you’ll discover a new area called the Abundant Shrine.
This area is filled with various trainers who aren’t terribly difficult, and is important for getting a legendary pokemon, Landorus. For now, however, the Abundant Shrine serves one purpose: getting the Razor Claw. Grab the items festooned about the area until you find the Razor Claw.
Once you have your Razor Claw, attach it to your Gliger and level the pokemon at night. Doing so will evolve Gligar into a Gliscor. You’ll lose the Razor Claw in the process, but the loss is worth the gain.
It’s worth noting that there is one other way to get a Razor Claw in Pokemon Black and White, and that’s via the Battle Subway. Doing so requires a ton of battle points, however, and isn’t suggested unless you have no other choice.
