How to Find The Champion Armor Set in Dragon Age Ii

Want to make your Hawke look like he did in the fake beginning? Then you have to get the Champion armor set. Discover how to find the Champion armor set in Dragon Age II!

As with the previous two armor sets in the game, the Champion armor set of Dragon Age II is a four piece set that’s scattered throughout an act – in this case, the last one. You need to look thoroughly to get all of the pieces… and, in the case of the actual armor, engage in a rather tough battle.

Also like the previous armor sets, each class – Warrior, Rogue and Mage – gets its own armor. Unlike the previous sets, however, the Champion armor set always has the same name and basic look.

- First are the Gauntlets or Gloves of the Champion. You’ll receive these automatically when you begin Act III.

- Second is the Helm or Hood of the Champion. You’ll gain this item during the quest Best Served Cold, in which you have to hunt down a group of Mages and Templars who are plotting to rebel. You’ll loot it from the corpse of Grace, one of the leaders, after the quest’s final battle.

- Thirdare the Boots of the Champion. These appear during the quest On The Loose, and can be looted from the corpse of Huon, a Blood Mage you’re forced to fight during one of your three excursions.

- Fourth is the Warplate, Arms or Robes of the Champion. This is the only ‘optional’ piece you’re going to come across, and it’s the most difficult by far: the armor is held by the High Dragon of the Bone Pit that appears in Mine Massacre. You’ll have to kill the dragon and its many spawn to receive the armor, along with a lot of other goodies as well. Be careful, as the High Dragon is one of the most difficult creatures to kill in Dragon Age II.
