How to Get The Captain’s Mask in Zelda Majora’s Mask

About midway into your Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask game you can travel to the graveyard to get the Captain’s Hat Mask. Follow the steps in the article below to get your next mask in this Legend Of Zelda Nintendo game.

You’ve now finished two temples in The Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask and now its time for Link to go into a new area of the game. To get the Captain’s Hat Mask, you need to go into the Ikana Valley. To get here, exit out of Clock Town and go out of the path that is going east. This is a very rocky area of Termina Field. This rocky area is where it will lead you through the Ikana Valley. You should have an almost halfway full inventory in your Legend Of Zelda game, and now you are about to get another additional item.

As you are going to the Ikana Valley area you will need to ride through as Epona and jump over some fences. You don’t want to go all the way inside of Ikana Valley, you need to take Link to the left. After you jump the fences with Epona make a left and go up the ledges to find the Ikana Graveyard. This is Legend Of Zelda, so you’ve got to have a graveyard in the game, right? Nearly every Legend Of Zelda game has a graveyard someplace in the game. Go through the area until you see Dampe’s house.

Prepare yourself for another mini boss battle that is about to happen. Most of the mini boss battles in Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask have been inside of the dungeons, but now your about to have another one outside in the world of Termina. Look near Dampe’s house and read the inscription that tells you if you wake up the Stalchild, you will face a mini boss battle. The inscription says that you need to wake up this guy somehow to start the battle. Take out your Ocarina Of Time and play the Sonata Of Awakening.

After you use the Ocarina Of Time, the battle with the Skull Keeta in the Ikana Graveyard will start. This isn’t going to be one of the harder Legend Of Zelda battles you will fight. Use your arrows against the Skull Keeta and this will slow him down. After you do this, use your sword to damage the Skull Keeta. You can also use your bombs and the Hookshot to slow down the mini boss. After you’ve used any of these weapons, follow up with strikes from your sword. This isn’t a regular boss battle. so it shouldn’t take too long to beat him.

There are way more tougher enemies in Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask than the Skull Keeta. He does move around and try to damage you, but you can avoid his attacks by using your shield. Even with using your shield, the Skull Keeta can reach Link so be careful not to get too close to him. When Skull Keeta vanishes and you can see the shadow, run away from him. Keep slowing him down with your bombs, Hookshot or arrows and follow up by striking him with your sword. When he is beat, watch the short cinema scene that follows.

Congratulations, you’ve just beat the Skull Keeta in the Ikana Graveyard. For your reward, you get the new item called the Captain’s Hat Mask. This item sort of looks like the Skull Keeta that you just beat. So what can you do with the Captain’s Hat Mask? When you wear this new item you can talk to the Stalchilds and Redeads throughout Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask. In doing so, the enemies will not attack you. You can also talk to a character in the game called Igos Du Ikana and make the Redeads dance too. Some of the masks don’t do all that much in Legend Of Zelda Majora’s Mask, and this is one of them.
