Buying new games can be very expensive. It does not matter if you buy a game which can be used with consoles like Xbox, ps3 or anything else. The high price of a game is the most important of all.

When a new game is released in our country, we all love to be the first ones to buy it. But does it really matter? Will everyone take their hats off for a new game that you have bought before everyone else in the neighbourhood? Of course the answer is no, although you might look like a person who can afford it at the highest price.

Usually, a new game costs around fifty pounds from a local game shop. It is better to wait a few weeks or even a few months to buy the game when the price could be a few pounds lower than at first.

I remember buying a game called ‘Driver 3’ which was very popular during those past days. Now, it only costs five pounds which saves me up to around thirty to forty pounds!

Downloading games online for free!

You might not believe it! But you can download games for free online! These are torrent files and you can access them by downloading a program called ‘Vuse’ which was known as ‘Azureus’ before. The bad side is that if you download on dial up, it could take several weeks to download a game particularly if the size is huge and most of the games are like 7 GB in size anyway.

However, be careful that the games you download as well as the ‘Vuse’ program do not contain any viruses by updating your Norton or another virus program. I had downloaded the ‘Vuse’ program and had tried to download some games but my computer had started crashing. Soon, my computer had crashed forever and had never worked again. I had not updated my Norton Antivirus software. I write this article with a new laptop I had only bought a few months ago. I still have my old one which needs fixing.

Renting a game

It is possible that you can rent games for low prices. But the bad side here is that you will have to return the game after a few days. There is no chance that you can finish a game similar to ‘Grand Theft Auto’ in a few days. So renting might not be a good idea.
