I Just Saw The Queen Falling From The Sky, Follow by James Bond

The opening ceremony for the Olympic Games featured a great entrance by the Queen of England.

In case you missed the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games (no need to call them the “summer games” as the winter games do not get this kind of attention worldwide), the Queen had an amazing entrance.

After a brief film featuring the latest James Bond picking her up at the Buckingham Palace, they both fly on an helicopter up to the stadium in which the ceremony is taking place, only to jump in a parachute!

No need to break the illusion making more comments about what actually happened and how it was accomplished, but what it is worth mentioning is the good predisposition of the Queen and the creativity and courage by the producers of the show for even asking for such a thing!

The people love it, which in part is a factor both sides of the story calculated and expected to happen: more popularity for the Royal Family and great reviews on the ceremony.

Even considering the obvious fact that it was not the Queen herself jumping and that a great deal of motivation for doing such thing has to be driven by the expectation of taking some advantage of the situation, it was an entrance that will be forever remembered and that is definitively worth mentioned.

In case you missed it, would recommend you look for it on-line so you have a chance to see and judge for yourself.

The ceremony had other fun participation, such as “Mr. Bean” and other British celebrities.

Fit for the Olympic Games, the ceremony embraced variety, fun and good sports. Hope these characteristics remain throughout the games.
