Minecraft Narrative : Envy

George liked minecraft, George liked it alot, he had the ability to express himself creatively, bringing to life, mansions, tvs and cars. He had the ability to create all these things without paying a single dime to anyone. Yet he lacked one single thing.

George was a frequent patron of a specific lava survival server, he had survived many rounds, and have gone up many ranks, however the other respected individuals all had customized skins, that they either created themselves, or downloaded from certain websites. The respected individuals all had bought the updated full version of minecraft at the time, this allowed them the privilege to customize their own characters. George knew that there had to be something denied to him on minecraft classic, because he did not buy the game. However he treated the ability to customize skins, as an unimportant luxury, a cosmetic feature that did not affect his ability to build his creations. 

However as George rose up through the ranks of the server, as George build creation after creation, he built some of his creations with other people who helped him without permission. These other people were also like George, in the way that they did not customize their skins. They would commonly see Georges creations and attempt to latch on to them, and help George. George grew to despise this. However whenever the people that he deemed “parasites” ran up to his face, with the steve model. He grew to despise the face, he grew to despise steve, He grew to hate that angry ugly face, that was there, whenever the parasites edited and modded his creations. He hated the parasites, he hated the way they kept looking at him, as they butchered his creation. It did not really help, that once the structure was complete, and once the lava started to flow across the map, they would go and trample over George’s butchered creation. Causing more contact with that vile ugly face, of the steve model. George hated the steve model, but he knew, that when the parasites looked at him with the ugly steve face, he was looking back with the exact same stare.

Everything that George did, he did to make himself unique, to make himself a important character, and to make himself respected. However he was unable to make himself truly unique, and the only reason for that, was because he did not have a debit card, nor did he have a paypal account. It is because of that, George will share his face with griefers, with annoying 10 year old players, with parasites. The lowest of the low. 

It is kind of sad when an website gives you a whole game to play for free, only to deny you a small cosmetic feature. As an incentive for purchasing bonuses.

It is still sad, when you get the main important part of the game for free, but you still want more.
