MMORPGs Screw Up Lives
Stop MMORPGS!
MMORPGS have screwed up my life, but i know that i am not alone. There are millions of recovering x-mmo gamers who at least now have left the horrible memories and their mmo life behind. The battle against the unbeatable enemies are not over as people still are able to see the games as a form of entertainment. If screwing up your life is entertainment, then go ahead.
How do these games screw up lives i hear you ask. Well, they target you when you are young, and suck you in when you are weak, but they don’t just stop at the weak, they suck in everyone else too. They don’t only suck you into playing but suck your time and money which adds up to their incomes of millions a month. So think again when a game company advertises themselves as a free mmorpg. Your addiction will grow into your life and spend money on the optional payments for items. While ripping you out of the real world they trap you into horrible pixed worlds in fantasies with unicorns and elfs, I mean yeah right, your really cool now. Taken away from your life, you have no time to work on anything else, school work, office work, or what ever your occupation is, it will turn into a full time warrior or magician.
Realise that mmorpgs screw up lives and are evil, no one should let their child play, or if you are a friend to anyone playing, stop them from playing. You wouldn’t want your friends to let you play would you?

I’ve never actually became addicted to and MMO, but I do enjoy them, though being bi-polar as I am, I do get bored easily.
But yeah, I totally understand the MMO’s ruining peoples lives, but only for some. For me games have really only prolonged my boring unsatisfying life. I guess really just do what you want we’ll all be miserable regardless.
no it only ruin people that are too into it if they too into it they never going to do anything except play game and that is having no life.people who play it just for fun still got a life because it for relieving their stress from work. if you just go to your job go to your house and do nothing that what i call a no life there no meaning in your life most people in job even kill themselves there life got no meaning. but if you play a bit of game and still do your job you can have some fun to help your stress. so quitting it is really stupid unless you always party and hang out with your friend there no need for game but mostly i seen adult have a really boring life it just work. they kill themselves someday like that one guy i heard got fire then kill his entire family and himself.
Cool story, bro
People screw up their own lives. These same people you’re trying to save are just going to find something else to dump their time and money on, from home shopping for useless gadgets to other useless things. As far as people playing, it IS their money. I know plenty of people that have been playing World of Warcraft since it’s started and their lives are fine. One owns his own store, and runs it himself. At nights, he raids with his guild. Another couple I know play Everquest with their kid. They have fun, enjoy themselves, and they still get plenty of exercise and are not currently in any big debt issues.
I have no idea why you think MMOs are ‘evil,’ but I’m taking a crack at it: You’ve played an MMO, and it’s ruined your life because you let YOURSELF get sucked into it. Your friends and family plead with you to quit, but it’s too addicting. Now that you’ve lost family, friends, so on and so forth, you’re looking for a scapegoat.
See, humanity has a habit on blaming others before acknowledging their own mistakes. What you consider ‘evil’ serves just fine as family entertainment to others. I suggest you get your facts 100% straight before you start playing the blame game, and realize you’re the one that paid for it, thinking that you’re great enough to not become addicted. This applies to EVERYONE, not just a single person.
BTW, I laughed at the whole kids playing MMOs thing. Blame the parents, not the MMO. Little 8 year olds walking into GameStop with their parents demanding Grand Theft Auto IV aren’t wholly responsible, it’s the parents that are fed up with the whining and get it for them despite the MATURE AUDIENCES RATING.
Ur the bigist fuckin *meow* in the whole fuckin world controll the world dont let it controll u .
suck it ez Bz
ps ima a migision or how eva u say dat shit

If you have money to play online games, you must’ve earnt it somehow. So I don’t see how online games can ruin your life if you’re doing other things other than just gaming 24/7.
For people who DO play MMO’s 24/7, good on them. I’d prefer that someone was a gamer, rather than a person hooning around the streets being an idiot, just for the hell of it. They’re a danger to everyone, not just themselves.
(Just targeting people from teens to mid 20’s, since that’s probably the most common age range for gamers.)
