Mortal Kombat 9: Tremor Will Not be a DLC

Mortal Kombat was and is one of the biggest games of this year, and the DLC had already started to appear. Until now, the classic suits for Scorpion, Ermac, Reptile, Sub-Zero, Kitana, Mileena and Jade have been released, as well as the two new characters called Skarlet and Kenshi. Plus, something new is approaching…

It’s expected that quite soon two more characters will be released in addition to the previous ones, which was already announced officially by Netherrealm Studios. However, they also revealed that a third secret character will be released soon!

According to Ed Boon, co-author of the Mortal Kombat series, a lot of fans have been asking for Tremor, wishing him to be released for the new game as a DLC [Tremor was an orange ninja that made his first appearance in the game Mortal Kombat: Special Forces].

But Boon, in his Twitter page recently said this wouldn’t be done at least in a nearby future.

“I have been receiving a lot of requests to release Tremor. I think Tremor is the new Rain. As the 40’s is the new 30’s. With the exception that Tremor will not be released as DLC”.

Nevertheless, these declarations from Boon can have a double meaning. So, maybe Tremor will not appear on this Mortal Kombat… but, could there be some kind of plan to take advantage of the popular character and introduce him in a possible new game? Only the future can answer this. Let’s see!
