My Rating on Midnight Club La

I know this game came out in 2008. I am kind of late on a review or rating, but I finally had the chance to sit down and finish the game. I have to say, Rockstar is the best. I love all of there games. I was not a big fan of the Midnight Club series until the add the name of a real city to the title.

Midnight Club took it to the streets of Los Angeles. A city know for illegal street racing. They were not the first to make a racing game based on a real city but, they are the first to make it actually look and feel real.

The game starts out with you, the player, coming from the east cost to the west coast. You call one of your old aquatints telling her you need a fast but cheap car. You choose from a Nissan 240SX, an Volkswagen GTI, or a Datson. I chose the Nissan because I am a fan of tuner cars and style.

The races are extremely difficult. Do not think you can finish the whole game without losing. It is impossible. I guess Rockstar got tired of people bragging about being the best. They made it seem real by doing that. Even the smallest mistake can cost you the race. Although the extreme difficulty, you earn money when you win or lose. You get more when you win of course. But, you have wager races that a mandatory to complete the game.

It is a stressful game that will get you blood pumping. The smallest crash can cost you the race. You also have the racers telling you to step it up or intimidating you. That gets annoying. But, like I said Midnight club LA is realistic. In fact, it is the most realistic game I’ve played so far.

The graphics are amazing. I just wonder why Rockstar does not make GTA look that great. It would be cool if they did. Take it back to San Andreas!

Overall, the cars look great. There is not a lot of cars to choose from. This game is extremely challenging. I give a rating of 7.0. The game could of lasted longer. Also, there is not a lot of cars to choose from. But, it is a great game for people who like real challenges.
