Need for Speed Undercover

In my previous article “5 must have games for iPhone“, I did not cover this game for a simple reason that I had not played it. But now that I’ve done, I would say that this is undoubtely the best game for the iPod touch and the iPhone. Way too better than the Asphalt Urban GT from Gameloft, the NFS Undercover has taken the touch gaming to another level.

Starting from the graphics, I would say the best graphics I’ve ever seen on my iPod Touch. A high frame rate makes the game even more enjoyable. Not even once I felt that the graphics crippled, or the frame rate went down. The in-game videos are good. Coming to the audio, the featured tracks ensure that your adrenaline level remains high throughout the game! The quality of these tracks is comparable to the popular mp3 format.

This game has a story, and a good story. It revolves around the Tri city. It has the Port Crescent, Sunset Hills and Palm Harbor. These get unlocked as the game progresses. There are 8 race modes 20 licensed cars including Pagani Zonda F, BMW M3 E92, Pontiac Firebird, Gallardo and the Nissan GT-R. The greatest thing about this game is that you can modify your cars with aftermarket body kits, spoilers, alloys, vinyls and change the suspension height. The performance upgrades include top speed, acceleration, handling, and nitro. Here are a few pics of the cars I tuned myself

Once you finish the game, there’s a surprise waiting. This surprise will keep you engaged for another few days.  I’ll let this remain as a surprise for you people..!

To conclude, NFS Undercover is a superb game, and I would definitely recommend it for all the gamers of the Apple touch family. Good luck playing this game..!
