On Flash Games 52 – Hedgehog Launch

Greetings, dear readers. On Flash Games blasts off to entry number fifty-two, covering a game called Hedgehog Launch, as published by Armor Games. Take it for a spin here on Kongregate. This one’s pretty simple, and not unlike other flash games, like Learn to Fly or Chuck the Sheep, or even the venerable Kitten Cannon. Pull your hedgehog down on the slingshot, and let him go, watching him fly up (rock out to the music too!), until gravity takes its course. He’ll land safely, don’t fret. After you’ve reached your zenith of flight, you can use your arrow keys to thrust left and right, and collect money in the skies, and bounce off of platforms, which take you a mite higher and increase your money earned. You can spend this earned lucre on upgrading your launcher, the hedgehog’s thruster pack, or better yet, buying or upgrading a 3-stage booster rocket (that, plus upgrading the launcher beat the game for me!). I had a good time playing this one – it does everything it sets out to do, and I certainly adore hedgehogs, so, 5/5.
