One on the Table One Under the Deck

In this trick, you reveal a number that your spectator has only thought about. When you repeat the trick, you predict what number he will choose before he even thinks of it.

You hand a small stack of cards to a spectator. While your back is turned, he thinks of a number from 1-10, then he deals that number of cards one at a time, from the top to the bottom of the stack. You turn around, and when he gives the cards to you, you immediately reveal the number he chose.

Offering to repeat the trick and make it more difficult , you put the mall stack behind your back and make a secret, hidden prediction.

You give the stack back to the spectator and ask him to think of another number from 1-10. Once again, while your back is turned, he deals that number of cards one at a time from the top of the stack to the bottom.

Ask him to deal the cards one at a time-one card on the table and one to the bottom of the pack. The spectator is to continue this “one on the table, one under the deck” dealing untill only one card remains in his hand. When he turns the card over, the value of the card matches his thought-of number.
