Online Games of The Future

Computer games still need to be installed on your computer to work. You go to a store, you order and then the same is shipped to you. Once you get the package you open it, you install it and then it doesn’t work or it works too bad. Actually I believe that only 1% of users have the right configurations and software to run their computer games because the computer loses it’s value too fast and the games become more and more powerful.

What would the solution be? Online game servers. Instead of having to install your game in your computer, you would order it to be installed in your online server you pay for, just like web hosting and then you would have the game installed there. This would be much better. The only thing that would come to your computer would a be stream of video generated by the host, just like Youtube. This way you would not have to fill your computer with game and you could play the game any time and anywhere you wanted to.

Is this already possible? Sure, but no one had the idea so far. Maybe you could start this kind of business. This would be so cool, so legal, imagine you having all the games in the world for a monthly fee, plus you would play them all online only! No junky buggy software to install anymore!

Plus you would not have to spend money on computers or upgrades or books to learn how to do it. Everything would be done by a dedicated support team!

Would this be possible for the latest games? Why not? The server is just like any other computer and you would only get the streamed imagine you see in the server computer, it’s very possible and somewhat easy.
