My nuclear family loves to game daily. I am still very picky on what I allow my children to play. My 13 year old gives me the hardest time, because he is not allowed to play games like “grand theft auto”, military games, or anything that simulates real life killing. Here is my top list of game sites for kids. Always be responsible about checking the sites out first and always click on the games. I have had instances where the most innocent kid’s game site had pornography in place of the games.

I have personally been to all of these sites, but I still encourage parents to always been in the same room as your children while they use the internet till they are 18 years old. You do not have to eaves drop on there im’s, but make sure that you know everyone they are talking to. Tell them the truth about why you are in the room with them. Show them the news when a child is solicited online either in print or on the television. Don’t scare them out of meeting people, or trusting people, but inform them that you are going to go with them if they meet someone from the internet face to face. Keep your children safe even if they do not want you to. They will eventually be glad that you were so tough on them. Keep the faith.
