Why is the Armadyl Godsword So Expensive?
Why is it?
The Armadyl Godsword is so expensive! I want one and it just so happens that it is 67 million gold pieces!
Why is this when the Saradomin Godsword so much cheaper if it heals you and your prayer as well as doing extra damage?
Why is this when the Bandos Godsword hits high and drains combat statistics as well?
Why is this when the Zamorak Godsword hits higher and has two complementary Ice Barrages?
I think I may have the answers:
The Saradomin Godsword is less expensive than the Armadyl Godsword because the Armadyl Godsword is used for player killing. As most players know, player killing is put above all in Runescape because of its popularity and the Armadyl Godsword is the ultimate weapon for it along with the newly released Dragon Claws.
If the Armadyl Godsword was not good for player killing the Saradomin Godsword would definitely be more expensive because of its power to heal you during its special attack.
Its name is also well known and its name is just held in high esteem.
This is why I think the Armadyl Godsword is so much more expensive than any other godsword and I still really want one over the Saradomin Godsword because of its capability to do a lot of damage which is another reason for its expensiveness.

Dude the armadyl godsword is expensive, because it has an ability to allow you to do 2 special attacks not just the normal 1 and it has a 25% more damage hit. Most people use the armadyl god sword when trying to peform a max hit. I ask people “max hit with meele weapons?” they say “67 with a normal weapon but 90 with armadyl god sword”. ags is expensive because its good for pk so its always on high demand on the ge arma hilt is also hard to get so theres a low supply of them. Thats how the ge works supply and demand, if theres a high demand on something but theres low supply the ge will force the price up…

I think the Armadyl Godsword is expencive because A.) The few people that do go to the God Wars Dungeon ussualy use coin share 2.) They don’t want to stay long enough to get more than one because they are out of stuff or just really big pussys and don’t want to stay. And 3.) Because the Armadyl Godswords are too bad-ass to be affordable to even the average millionaire.

It’s expensive because of 2 economical reasons:
1. High demand (arguably the best godsword special, and it’s a good KO in pking)
2. It’s a rare drop, and not as many people kill the armadyl boss as others, so there’s less of them in the game (bandos is the most killed boss and look at the price difference for a bgs)
High demand + Low supply = expensive.
Ya exactyl … All godswords are dropping in prices even claws… Ags was 120m now look at it 60m! And nowadays pp are not demanding any type of godswords so you’ll stay like weeks trying to catch the best offer like 6-10m extra money so and even the grand exchange won’t sell you it even when at highest price. :p
