Entropia Universe: CND

What is Entropia Universe? What is CND?

Let me explain what the Entropia Universe is. Entropia Universe is online computer game with real cash economy. It means that you can transfer your money in and out of Entropia Universe. Thanks to this fact, everything in game has the value in real money. You can sell it for in game currency and withdraw the money. This brings me to the next question.

What is CND?

CND is an acronym of Club Neverdie. It’s virtual club owned by Jon “Neverdie” Jacobs. Some of you may know him as actor and filmmaker. He bought an asteroid in virtual world of Entropia Universe. CND is located at this asteroid. In my opinion, a space resort would be better name for this place. Why is that? It’s simply because there are so many things to do. I’m pretty sure you can’t go hunting, mining or crafting in regular real world clubs.

How to get there

Every new player begins his journey through Entropia Universe at planet Calypso. How is it possible to get to the CND then? Well, it is easy. You get there by a space ship. There are people who own space ships. Some of them use their ships to transport people from Calypso to CND. Of course, they don’t do it for free. The cost of one flight to CND is usually 20-25 Peds (project entropia dollar – 10 Peds = 1$).

What will I find there?

The first thing you will notice as soon as you arrive at CND is the docking level where the ship will land. When you come to teleport, you can visit several areas. There are apartment complexes. You can also find discos and shopping mall at CND. However, probably your first stop will be the control room. People come here to find passengers for their ships, sell or buy goods, to craft or just to chat to the others. There are also trade, repair and revival terminals in control room. You will also want to visit bio-domes. There are twenty of them. Every one of them hosts different mobs and you can find there different ores and energy matters.

However, there is one thing you won’t find here. It’s storage. Your only option to get the storage at CND is to buy an apartment. Apartments at CND are much more expensive than the ones at Calypso. The only alternative is to sell everything you find or loot, otherwise you will get overweighed very soon.

Why to go there

Well, it’s definitely not worth it to go to CND just for hunting. It is hard to find a buyer for your loot and there are no storages. However, the mining in CND’s bio-domes is far superior to mining at Calypso. Your finder will search only to the half of normal distance. Claims are usually bigger than the ones at Calypso. The outcome is usually the same as at Calypso. However, CND is better for miners. The time between attempts is much shorter. This means faster skilling. It is also easy to find a buyer for your ores and energy matters in control room.

Another good reason to go to CND is fun. If you are the person who seeks dance instead of mining and hunting, you will have a lot of fun at discos. There is also CND radio constantly playing songs.

Conclusion

CND is interesting place. If you are a miner, you should pay it a visit. Skilling mining is much faster and it’s not that boring as at Calypso. If you seek fun, CND is also the right place for you. Thanks to some disadvantages, mid-level hunters will have some problems here. The most painful ones are the absence of storages and buyers for your loot. Taxes in all bio-domes also won’t make you happy.
