Facebook App: Farmville

So, one day you log on to Face-book and suddenly you notification box is spammed with farm-ville invitations. The next day you go to school and everyone is talking about it! So, what is this farm-ville application?

Introduction:

Farm-ville is a new game that was recently introduced to Face-book. Unlike most games, it’s not a mind-jolt game. Instead, it itself is an entire application, that means you can bookmark it on your application toolbar for easier access!

Miscellaneous Information:

If you happen to play Runescape, you will find this game very similar to farming (P2p skill).

On a scale of 1-10, I’d rate it 7 for graphics.

Some people consider this game to be stupid, boring, and time wasting, but to others (and to most people), this game is highly addictive and fun.

Guide: Planting and Raising Animals

This game is pretty simple. Even without any help, it won’t take more than 5 minutes to fully understand the game. But, here’s a brief explanation anyways.   

Basically, all you do is plow land (costs money) then plant seeds (costs money). After some time (a few hours to a few days, depending on type) it will be ready to be harvested (gains money). You can also plant trees, they are slightly more expensive and may take more time before its ready to harvested, but you also gain money, and the trees last forever, unlike the plants.  You can also grow many different types of animals, they usually take a day to a few days before you can collect what ever it is that they give, they will also last forever.

Guide: Decorations, Buildings, and Tractors

Most buildings and decorations don’t do anything and just looks good, but some buildings you can put your animals in for a faster harvesting time. Tractors can help you harvest plants or plow ground faster, but they cost fuel. 

Leveling up

Like most games, you will level up, but you also need to gain experience points. Gaining experience points is easy because almost everything you do in this game will gain points, and the more something costs, the more exp you get (not necissarily for plants). The more you level up, the more types of plants, decorations, tractors, buildings, trees, and etc will be unlocked.   

Bonus: Cheat

Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for. This game seems almost completely edited and all glitches and cheats seems to be removed. Except for one. And, after much testing, it is concluded that there is only one current cheat.  Here are the steps:

1. Plow a stright line of farming ground (1×10 blocks). Surround the entire with fence, and make sure you’re inside the fenced area. 
2. Plant whatever it is that you want.
3. Wait.

This cheat will help to increase the speed rate of the plants growing. For example, if you plant something that normally takes 10 hours, it will now take around 8 hours or less. Try it!
