Farmville: Animal/Tree Profitability

This is a post on the profitability of animals and trees on Facebook’s Farmville by Zynga.

A lot of you have used my Seed Profitability chart and my Experience Cost chart for Zynga’s Farmville, so I’d like to introduce the chart below.  This chart will help you measure the profitability of animals and trees.  Why are they categorized together?  The answer to that question is they each have a cost, but some we can not measure.  Some of them are paid by coins, some by FV, and some are gifted.

So if I’m not measuring the cost, what’s the point in the chart?  The chart is used to evaluate which is worth the space on your farm.  Some suggestions might be that you should have a Olive Tree farm, but you’d have to receive a lot of gifts.  Or maybe you thought about making a cow farm?  Well, if you’re going for money, you may want to steer clear of that idea.

Formulae:
Plot Profit/Hour = (Sell Value/Production Time) * Items Per Plot
Plot Profit/Day = (Plot Profit/Hour) * 24
