Goal Line Blitz: An Up and Coming American Football MMORPG

Most guys who like American football have their career ended soon after high school and college.  I know most guys who like American football also spend countless hours wishing that they could be a pro, or a coach.  Goal Line Blitz can allow you to do that.  Goal Line Blitz is an American football MMORPG that allows to get in the game long after your career is over.  Create a player, coach or GM a team, or be the owner of a team.  Create how your player is built, what position, and watch him play right before your eyes.  Scout the opponent, and set up a gameplan that you know can lead your team to victory.  Be the owner of a franchise and control every detail, the finances, signing of players, and stadium construction.  I absolutely love this game and I think more people need to get on the fun.

Goal Line Blitz is free to play if you want it to be.  Like many online games, spending money on Goal Line Blitz allows extra benefits.  Money buys GLB currency, which are called flex points.  With flex points you can do things like boost (level up) a player, creat a player, create a private forum, friendly challenge, or own a team.  Flex points are relatively cheap, one dollar gets you one hundred flex points (which is how much to make a linemen).  Different players you make cost different amounts.  Glamor positions are quarterbacks, halfbacks, and wide recievers.  These cost 300 flex points.  Normal positions are fullback, tight end, and all the defensive positions.  These cost 200 flex points.  Non glamor positions are offensive line, kicker, and punter, which cost only 100 flex points.  Luckily, when you join the game they start you off with 400 flex points, so you can create any type of player you want.  Also every season they give you a 100 flex point bonus.  You can create your player how you want using attributes such as speed, strength, blocking, etc.  When you create a player you can join a computer team, or you can try to find a human team to take you in.  When you play a game, you gain experience, which levels you up.  The system is like most MMORPGs.  The more you level up, the better you become. 

Creating a player is a lot of fun in this game, but what really keeps you interested is being the general manager or owning a team.  Often times owners of teams need help doing tactics or recruiting players onto the team.  They can hire you as a GM, and you usually get a position like offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, recruiter, etc.  You don’t get any pay or bonus for being a GM, but it is a fun and enjoyable way to play the game.  This is want really keeps you interested in it.  Also you can own a team.  Buying a team costs 1,000 flex points, and it is yours for two seasons (which are 40 days).  To renew the length you own a team, you have to pay 400 flex points a season.  This will require you to spend you own money into it.  As the owner of a team you control the finances, tactics, signing of players, stadium construction, and hiring GMs.  You get placed in a league, and they make you schedule.  Play for the league championship and more.
