Guide to Finding Free Games and Software

Ok to start off allot of the things on the internet that you pay for, can be found for free somewhere else. Now there are two basic types of free stuff, Legal, and illegal. Torrents are an example of getting games for free but is illegal. While D2D downloads of outdated games are legal and free.

To begin with lets start with an example. Lets say you want to get halo combat evolved. This game has been out for ten years and if you look carefully you can download it for free easily. So how i came across it was i typed into google halo combat evolved. What came up were two videos near the top, one said how to get halo combat evolved for free, and the other i don’t remember. Now when you click on this video it takes you to youtube and on the right hand side was a link to a site that let you download it virus free and of course for FREE.

Now in many ways that was a give to of free software. Most of the time you have to look very far and wide to find things such as those. Another example would be finding a free and legal download of lets say sins of a solar empire. To find something like this you would have to look into forums ask questions and search the first 10 pages of google. After a while you might eventually come to a site that offers it.

Now onto torrents. Torrents are basically ripped software from a disc or the internet, they allow you to use the P2P or peer 2 peer system to download illegal software for free. Most standard torrents are easy to achieve but sometimes you have to dig simply type in the name of a book, game, video, etc into google and hit a few links and you should come to it eventually. But in order to download torrents you have to have a bittorrent, but im not going to go into specifics with those just look around and youll find what you need.

Simple tips are:

1.Always keep looking using different search engines.

2.Use youtube for tutorials on how to find what your looking for.

3.Post on forums looking for the software and somebody might post a link.

Once you follow all those steps you should be able to find most of what your looking for.
