How to Do Calibur in Devil May Cry Four

This guide shows you how to perform the Calibur move in Devil May Cry 4, keyboard style!

A tip for beginners: Since this move uses the “Split” keys and more, you will often find that you perform a split. This is normal, and happens more when you press (FORWARD) before pressing (BACK). To avoid this, simply remove the skill while training your Calibur skills.

Okay, so many of you guys don’t understand the “back to forward” thing, so here’s the easiest way to do Calibur. This also works for Shuffle, which is basically a ground version of Calibur.

Before we get started, please note that the back to forward motion means that you do it in the way your camera is pointed. For example, if your camera is on your SIDE and you are facing the right side of it, you want to do left to right. If you’re facing the left side of the camera, you want to do right to left. If you’re LOOKING at the camera, do forward and back. Normally, having the camera behind you is the easiest way to do it for beginners, but sometimes the default camera angle won’t allow that.

So, find an empty area to get started. It helps if you have the Air Hike ability, to give you some extra air time to perform it. Here are the steps:

1. Jump (Air Hike gives you more time) and hold your lock-on button (SPACE)

2. Press (BACK) and (FORWARD) repeatedly, very fast. As mentioned in paragraph 2, you want and to be in ratio to your camera angle.

3. Press your normal sword attack button (I). If it doesn’t work the first time and gives a normal attack, keep pressing it repeatedly.

Steps 2 and 3 are at the same time and, as mentioned, repeatedly.

If it doesn’t work, keep trying! Good luck!
