How to Fertilize Farms in Farmville

The recently introduced feature of fertilizer in Farmville has confused many users. What is it? What does it do? And how do I get it? Well, it isn’t like any other feature in the game, so the process is fairly new and maybe not the best, but here’s how to get bags of fertilizer to help out your neighbors and get some neat rewards.

• First, you have to go to a neighbor’s farm and help them by scaring away crows, gophers, weed their plots, etc etc.
• Farmville will randomly pick users who have helped out their friends farm and give them 5 bags of fertilizer. This is a random process, so you can help all your neighbors and receive nothing or help three and get them then.
• You’ll know when you get the fertilizer because a small blue and white bag with x5 pops up in the bottom left side of the screen.
• Once you have the fertilizer, you can help your neighbors by fertilizing their crops. They’ll become sparkly, and you’ll gain XP.

The whole point of fertilizer is to turbo charge crops for the people who are fertilized by their friends, giving them a boost in the profit of harvesting these crops, and the people who fertilize get the Crop Whisperer ribbon, which gives a big XP and coin bonus to the person who gets it.
