1-99 Magic Guide and Bonus Details
A 1-99 RuneScape magic training guide.

A slower but free way to train mage is to use Fist of Guthix because they always provide runes for you plus this games has some handy rewards. This is for all levels. It is also good for members because they can train or try out expensive spells like ancient magick spells for free.
Now for the guide:
1-20: Use air strike preferably on dummies next to lumbridge and with an air staff.
20-37: Cast curse also on dummies (it gives same xp), use an earth staff and when you get to level 30 switch to a mud staff.
21-37: Use low alchemy while wielding a fire staff. Alch cheap stuff like feathers since alchemy does not turn items into a lot of gold.
37-45(55): Cast telekinetic grab on zamarak wines in the chaos temple north of falador then teleport to falador and go back. This is the best way of earning money for f2p and if you want to make some more money you can go all the way to level 55 doing this. Or You can just train to 45 by teleporting to falador.
45-55: cast camelot teleports holding an air staff.
55-99: Start casting High alchemy on any item that is most profitable. Good items for f2p are rune medium helmets and good weopons for p2p are magic longbows. At first this will gain levels fast but bu level 70 you will need patience for this method to work.
60-99: bones to peaches at the magic training guild. Use a mud staff. This is a good method because you can earn points to get infinity armor.
70-94: Use the ice blitz multi-target spell at Ape atoll to get tons of experiance fast. This method is very expensive though and you need lots of pray for it.
75-99: Slay blue(traverly), green(wilderness) or black(traverly) dragons with fire wave. Equip an air staff.
80-99: Slay dragons with god spells using charge. You can hit up to a 30.
94-99: Ice barrage at Ape atoll.

but a faster way 2 lvl up your magic is to use teleports

It is an interesting guide but I have seen MANY better ones out there. To make it better you can include training in the lunar spellbook, although costly plank make and string ammy are VERY fast xp. You should also include bursting/barraging rock lobsters in waterbirth as they drop a LOT of charms and are extremely good exp. Finally for no cost at all you can play Soul Wars my favourite minigame for around 50-60k exp an hour (losing nothing unless you are maging ingame). You can choose to disregard my information but I think you should take it into accout.

I assume you are writing this for newbies – and me being a newbie I do not know what staffs you are referring to. I think there is a ’staff of air’ and a ‘air battlestaff’. You infer there is a benefit to using it, but never say what that benefit is. Does it use less runes?
What do u mean? Obviously there is an advantage that when you’re holding a staff it has unlimited runes depending on what staff it is. Air has unlimited air runes, water unlimited water etc. Weather it is a battlestaff or not does not change it. Mud staffs have a benmefit of supplying both earth and water runes
you need 40 mage to use the mud staff O_o nice guide anyway, im going for 99 now

I, personally, superheat to train my mage, i\’ve gone from 43 to 79 superheating steel bars and can do about 50k exp an hour while still making a little bit of profit.

this guide is ok. like all guides it has a few ups and downs. like for instance when you said from 1-20 u said cast air strike on dummies. but you can only cast magic on them from lv 1-10. a better way would be to go and cast that same spell from 10-20 on monks near the chaos temple on the other side of the ditch. they will heal themselves making them being good targets. next id reccomend from 20-35 casting a curse on the monk in the varroc castle. i agree at lv 55-99 you could cast high alch and wield a small profit OR you could cast superheat on iron + coal to make bars (note this will take longer than high alch but is still a good method).
your all slow as hell lol from 80-86 you should be stunning teh monk of zamorak in varrock palace for 70-80k xp an hr, tehn from 86-99 you shouldbe plank making mahogany logs for 120k xp an hr and a profit of 150k an hr…

why in the part of slaying black, blue or green dragons, we should use an air staff? it is cheaper to use a fire staff
