A Runescape Guide to Easy Money and Air Running

The ultimate way of becoming rich by just walking from point A to point B. It’s called air running, a trick many people are oblivious to its rewards. This is one of the fastest ways to make money if you are a non member. For this guide, you would have had to have finished “rune mysteries” and also have a bit of money to start of, if not, you can get your own essence.

First of all, you need to know what you need; all the following items can be bought at the Grand Exchange aka “G.E”. You will need, air tiara or air talisman (tiara recommended, it will save you a slot in you inventory). And you will need rune essence, not pure essence. Here you have the option of buying your own rune essence, or mining them. If you choose to mine them, head down to the small bank in Varrock, wear light clothes or no clothes at all, and buy the best pickaxe you can. Now, you will have to go south of the Varrock bank to magic shop. There, you can ask to be teleported to a place where you will be able to mine rune essence. Rune essence can be mined very quickly and a full inventory will only take around 3 minutes. Mine or buy as much rune essence as you can (at least 1000 rune essence is recommended).

Once you have bought or mined all the rune essence, buy an air tiara (air talisman if you don’t want a tiara). Hop worlds to world 16, this is where everyone meets at all times of the day (the best time would be 3:00 to 5:00 pm GMT). Go to the one and only Falador bank and withdraw 28 unnoted rune essences (27 if you have a talisman).

Walk down (don’t run) past the mining guild, past the gates of Falador, and into the forest where you will find “The mysterious ruins”. Click them, and you will be teleported to the air alter. If you were unable to find the ruins, you will see a number of people who are heading down to craft air runes, just follow them. Remember to wear light clothes or no clothes at all so you can run for a longer period of time. If you choose o run, only run from the alter to the bank, and not from the bank to the alter because you would have a bag full of rune essence.

Once your are inside, you will see a rounded shaped rock in the centre, do not press on it, this isn’t you job. NOTE: if you only want xp, then air running is the fastest way of getting high runecrafting in non-members, if you do choose to go for the xp rather then the money, you will loose money if you have just started, you will only begin to make money at level 44 runecrafting. You might wish to runecraft the rune essence yourself, this isn’t very profitable at first, but when you reach level 44 you will stop loosing money and make a small profit, be patient, when you reach those higher levels, you will be making a lot of money on your own. If you choose the runecraft air runes, I would highly recommend going to Fist of Guthix “FOG” where you can buy air runecrafting gloves fo 100 tokens, these are very good because they double the experience you get, you will level very, very quickly!

Now, for the money side, you will see people saying “8x”, or even “9x”, there are usually people saying that almost all day long. Find a person who is assisting with the highest rune crafting level:

level 1-1x
level 11-2x
level 22-3x
level 33-4x
level 44-5x
level 55-6x
level 66-7x
level 77-8x
level 88-9x
level 99-10x

It is extremely rare to find someone with 99 runecrafting who is assisting with 10x. So if you want to know how much money you will be making, first of all I would find the person with the highest runecrafting level, right click and assist. They will assist you and then you can craft your runes, they will get the xp and you will get the runes. If you do craft 1000 rune essence with someone who was level 88 runecrafting (9x), you will make 9k air runes. Currently, the price of air runes is 14gp. If so, you will make 126k! And guess what, it will take around 1 hour, that’s around 126k an hour. Even if you are level 3, you can still be making that whopping 126k an hour. You can be a millionaire in no time, all you need is patience.
