Are You Rich on RuneScape? Determining What Rich and Wealthy are

The Wealthy

People who have large stockpiles of coins, and the Ultra Rich and the Very Rich can affoard almost anything they want in RuneScape. 

The Ultra Rich – generally have a total of 1 billion+ coins, and generally invest their money, usually in rares. Alot of these people have made their money thru merchanting or highly lucrative skills like RuneCrafting. Some people have this wealth thru ‘bad’ ways, such as lurers or recoverers/hackers. Stakers and gamblers may also be included in this, but rarely hold their wealth. Usually very high levels, with many rare items. Merchanters with this wealth can easily affect the economy. Most have upper-market rares like Party Hats, but some merchanters solely keep and use lower-market rares like Santa Hats. 

The Very Rich – usually have a total of 250 to 1 billion coins, the very rich are also merchanters, high-profit skillers, gamblers, or lurers. Generally have a few lower-market rare items, like Easter Eggs, Santa Hats, or Halloween Masks. 

The Rich – have around 100 to 250 million coins, and may have a lower-market rare or two. Money generally made from leveling skills or player-versus-monster.

The Middle-Class

Mainly members who make their money off of skilling or player-versus-monster.

Upper Middle-Class – players have around 15 to 100 million coins. Mainly mid- to high-leveled members. 

Middle-Class - They generally have 800k-15 million coins, and they make uo the majority of RuneScape Members (p2p). 

Lower Middle-Class – players have from 100,000 to 800,000, and make up a majority of low- and mid- levels in members’ worlds of RuneScape. Also visible in high level f2p players.

The Poor

The Poor – players who have no coins to about 100,000, the poor are mainly seen in free-to-play worlds. A few of these can be seen as the ‘beggars’ in RuneScape. 

Notable Ultra-Rich People

Chessy018 - had 1,000 santa hats until she got hacked in 2011. One of the richest RuneScape players ever. Bank of 200b+

Duke_freedom – merchanter. Got banned in 2007 for real-world trading. bank of 30b+. 

Pker_tdm - has a huge bank of rares from RuneScape Classic, bank of 100b+, has a large amount of christmas crackers and party hats. 

Phat_Shock - RuneScape staker, bank of 10b+

Urballzrmine -  RuneScape staker, bank of 50b+

5olstice – great merchanter. Only wears/has a huge amount of santa hats. Friend of Chessy018, and former famous video maker. Bank of 20b+

Raven588 – staker, 150b+

Cursed You - staker, was later made famous for hosting the house party where the Falador Massacre glitch occoured.
