Best 1-99 Farming Guide and Bonus Details

1-99 farming guide and bonus details.

Farming is a very unique skill. It is not just monotonous training like all the other skills. You can train limitlessly. The more you plant and the more you go around harvesting, the more xp per hour you will get. In this guide I will tell some basics that you absolutely have to farm to advance in farming. The rest is up to you.

First of all get the basic tools for farming which is a spade, secateurs, dibbers, rake, bucket and compost

  • 1-15: Go to the allotment patch near falador and keep planting the best level plants you can in each allotment. If you want you could go to 4 different allotments in Runecape to spped up your process. Also fill up the compost bin, rake weeds and put compost for extra experience.
  • 15-30: Now you can plant oak trees. Trees are usually your biggest part of experiance in farming but later on they get very expensive. Plant oak trees in all 4 spots over Runescape because they will take a long time to grow. At level 20 star planting sweetcorn, at level 26 start planting impart roots and finally start planting the apple tree which takes a very long time to grow but gives a huge amount of experience.
  • 30-48: Start planting willow trees and then banana trees. At 31 plant strawberries. At level start planting ranaar seeds but do this only with magic secateurs. Then at level 36 start doing bush runs in betweeen tree runs planting dwellberry seeds. Finally at the end start planting watermelons which you can use for super compost.
  • 48-99: At this time you need all the bonus items for farming like magic secateurs, fairy ring and the falador shield. Your sequence should be the following. A tree run, a fruit tree run, vegetable runs, hops runs, bush runs and finally before you log out you should end with another tree run. You should not do any special seeds except for the calquatt tree at 72. At level 68 switch to snapdragon herbs and always stick with willow trees or maple trees if you are richer.

Hi, Joey, I think you should do other runescape articles, since maybe not evryone likes farming, just an advice.

I basically have a runescape article on every 1-99 guide…And this guide for people who do like farming…Whats your point?

I love, and hate this guide for many reasons. I’ve played runescape for going on 3 years now, and it seems this guide is showing just a few of the not-so-good possiblites.

Willow, and banana trees, while good, aren’t the best option. Also, allotments, bushes, etc, are big no no. The experience is way too low for a level over 50, which is why i prefer to use fruit trees, normal trees, and minigames, such as Penguin Hide and Seek. With Penguin Hide and Seek, you can get 30k experience a week in farming, helping a lot in the long run.

The best advice to give is to grow fruit trees and normal trees at your level, wait for them to grow, and in the meantime, don’t sit there and watch it. They take 14+ hours, so watching won’t make it any faster.

You can do homework, relax, watch tv, take a shower, brush your teeth, fish, or even play minigames like pest control, temple trekking, or even that Penguin Hide and Seek if you want!

The trick is to wait untill the trees finish growing, check the health for the xp, pick all the fruits or cut all the wood, then chop it down and take out the tree. Then plant another one and repeat for massive xp every day.

And at level 68, you can earn a whopping 50,000 exp. a day. That’s if you have acess to the fifth fruit tree patch in Lleyta. All you do is plant palm tree’s every day, get the xp, then take the tree out and grow more.

However, this makes farming more expensive, for the seeds can run for well over 100k. But it’s the fastest you’ll get. You can get 68-99 farming in about a month off palm trees.

Hope my little mini-guide helped you. God Bless you all, have a great day!

Hey, that’s an okay guide. I agree with Wise Man though; doing allotments after 40, especially level 50, is a huge no-no. Trees and fruit trees are the way to go.

And no, I didn’t write this guide as a blatant advertisement, but I’ve had a Chain Farming guide in the making for Sal’s Realm of Runescape. It’ll be up soon (so by the time you read this, it should already be up), so give it a look for some advice. =D Good luck on your farming!

I think this is a good guide apart from the bit about using willows and allotments, the cash you make back from herbs is more than enough to do maples and pineapples, i do 15 maples 5 pineapple 1 Calquat everyday and a few herb runs, its cost me not a penny to get to 83 farming, i would also recommend fitting in a cactus picking run with your herb run as it gives you an extra 12k-ish gp for about 20 seconds work :) happy farming.

I just make 5 toadflax and limpwurt runs a day.
And farm as many fruit trees/willows and yew trees i can a day.
and im making like 1m a day from the herbs?

What above posts were saying about certain things being a “no no” is bull, you have to relize the exp may not be the best from certain things but as the guide mentioned you can speed up leveling depending on how much farming you wish to do, a little more exp is better then no exp at all, if you wish to do mini games do it on the downtime between things growing, otherwise i found this was a perfect guide all the way to my 99, could use a quick read over to fix a few small mistakes, none factual just small points here and there.

This is okay, His point to this was making more runs and plannting as manny as he could for more xp, rather then going to those patches planting only 1 seed per patch he would rather hit up a mutli patch. which makes sense. Wise man has a good asnwer aswell, mini games are good with leveling up farming. So i would look at both there guides.
