Here are several good places to train range in f2p
krandor island from the top of the mountain so they can’t attack you.
In the volcanoe, there are many safe spots to attack lesser demons, greater demons etc. You can do this in pvp to get you ptential up.
Wilderness where the greater demons are. Also under the karajma volcano where the lesser demons are.
For begginers there are tons of safe spots in the first and second levels of stronghold security. Also there are several safe spots in higher levels with the ankous and ghosts.
Barbarian longhall is a great place for beginners because you can’t get hurt.
Hobgoblins near the crafting guild.
