Best Runescape Weapon

Some of you may be wondering what weapons are good to buy and powerful. Well, this guide will show you for both non-members and members!!!

Free Players

For free players, the scimitar is always a good option. It has a great speed, and is sufficient enough in power. The longsword has about the same speed, but slightly lower in power. Both of these are cheap, under 50k gp, and are constantly sold and bought. There are very few options to free players- however, some free players use the battleaxe or 2H sword. Both of these have great power, but the 2h is 2 handed, so it decreases defense. The Battleaxe, or baxe for short, can be wielded with a shield. This weapon is considered the second strongest. Warhammers are also slightly more common now- for their crush attacks.

Members

Members have such a wide variety it’ll take 5 pages before I finally finish explaining. There are lots of options, such as a poisoned dragon dagger, the abyssal whip, or even the leaf-bladed sword. There are so much that are also expensive, I’ll explain things that are within the 100 million range.

For the ultimate amount in power, the Dragon 2h is always an option. However, this power comes with a price. The dragon 2h is considerably slower than other weapons, such as the dagger. This weapon may cost slightly over 200k- not that bad. Another option, for players who have completed regicide, is the dragon halberd. This can attack from 2 squares away, making it useful to attack players behind a fence, or something in the way. This is also over 200k. and is a good alternative to the 2h.

Probably the most effective and fast is the p++ Dragon Dagger. It’s special attack, puncture, hits 2 quick hits, each hit having the chance to hit 50. It takes 25% of the special attack bar, so it can inflict a total damage of 400, with all the stats pimped out to the max. VERY CHEAP, only 30k. The only disadvantage is that it requires the completion of a quest- The Lost City. However, this quest is very easy- you just need a decent prayer and good magic stats.

Many members also choose to use the Dragon scimitar or Abyssal whip. Both of these are considered the best one handed weapons in all of Runescape. Both of them have enormous power for one handed weapons, and are very fast. However, they are both over 80k with the scimitar at 99k, and the whip steadily rising- about 3 million gp. The whip can’t train strength, which is the only MAJOR disadvantage. Both of these are often criticised for their almost useless special attacks.
