Crystal Items in Runescape

To find the elves, try in these or around these places: forests. The elves you’re looking for are called; lfeen, Eluned and Islwyn.

You need Ilfeen if you have a crystal seed that you want enchanted into a bow or shield.

Islwyn will happily sell you a new bow for 900k and a new shield for 750k. A new bow or shield has 2500 charges, which means you can either fire 2500 arrows from a crystal bow, or take 2500 hitpoints damage to the shield before it turns back to seed. Once it goes back to a seed, you have to take it to Ilfeen, who will enchant your seed to a bow/shield for a price.

Crystal bow: 1st time-> 900k  2nd time-> 720k  3rd time-> 540k  4th time-> 360k  5th time-> 180k

Crystal shield: 1st time-> 750k  2nd time-> 600k  3rd time-> 450k  4th time-> 300k  5th time-> 150k

*Note: After the 5th time, the price will always remain the same. For example, the price to recharge a crystal shield for the 10th time will still be 150k.

To use a Crystal bow, you need to have 70 range and 50 agility. The bow has the power of Seren, so it does not require any arrows. Every 250 arrows, the bow will degrade slightly. As the shield degrades, your range bonus also goes down slightly. Overall, the bow has a very high accuracy.

To use the Crystal shield, you need to have 70 defence and 50 agility. As with the bow, every 250 hits, the shield will degrade slightly, also as the shield degrades you will lose some of its defence bonus. Overall, it has a better defence over a dragon square shield!

Crystal saw is used to construct furniture for your house. Its ability, however, will allow you to construct things that are up to 3 levels above your own construction level. For example, if your construction level is 47 and you have a crystal saw, then you can construct items that require level 50 construction. You can only create 28 items this way before it reverts back to a seed. When that happens, you have to take it to Brimstail’s cave and use the seed on the crystal bowl. Alternatively, you can seek out Ilfeen in the forests of Isafdar and ask her to recharge it for you.

Crystal chime is used to weaken the warped terrorbirds and warped tortoises, will allow you to be able to attack these monsters for a limited time, so try and do as much damage as possible. The crystal chime, however, does not require recharging.

My personal favourites are the Crystal shield and bow because they are used in combat =)
