Dragon Pickaxe (Information)

On September 9 2009, Jagex released the much awaited Dragon Pickaxe along with the forgiveness of a chaos dwarf quest. Many rumors about the dragon pick axe were finally confirmed on September 5th when Mod Mark informed that it was in development. The pick-axe first started at 4 million gp in the Grand Exchange but has currently gone up to over 9 million. Many players anticipated this and made millions when it came out. To wield the pick-axe you need 60 attack and to mine with it you need 61 mining. You do not need to complete to use the pick-axe, rather to obtain it. Dragon pickaxe is dropped by Chaos dwogres and Chaos Dwarf Hand Cannoneers and even regular level 48 Chaos dwarves. So far players have anticipated that the pick axe is 10 percent faster then Rune version but it still mines lower level ores like iron at the same speed. The special attack of the pick axe is called shock and drains 5% from a players strength, attack and defense. Recently loot-share has been added as an option with the dragon pickaxe.
