Fast Mining and Smithing Leveling

A guide that will teach you a good technique on how to level up faster and make some money in mining & smithing.

In this guide I will teach you a good technique on how to get your mining and smithing levels up fast. If you only wish to get your mining up fast than read the first paragraph titled “Mining”, if not skip it and read the second paragraph onwards titled “Mining & Smithing.”

Mining:

For complete beginners you will need a pickaxe, you should already have a bronze pickaxe in your bank from tutorial island. First start by mining copper ore or tin ore, a good place to mine them is at a mine few steps left from Port Sarim. There you should find some copper and iron rocks, keep mining either one of them until your inventory is full.

If you want to store your ore put it in the bank if not just drop them or sell them for almost nothing at the Rimmington General Store. Once you reach level 15 mining you can move onto iron, there is some iron rocks at the same mining site. Pick a good world with the least amount of people and mine the iron onwards, and drop, store or sell the iron when you get a full inventory.

From there you can upgrade you pickaxe if you have enough money, level 21 miners can use a mithril pickaxe, level 31 miners can use adamant pickaxes and finally level 41 miners can use rune pickaxes the best pickaxe in the game.

I recommend that you only power mine on iron rocks because it regenerates quickly and is very easy to mine. There are some level 85 miners that power mine on iron because it is the fastest. A good way to make some money is to mine some coal and sell them to players you can also sell the iron to some players too.

Mining & Smithing:

Mining and Smithing is a good non-member way in making money. Once you are a high or a medium level in it you can make a decent amount of money. If you are a beginner in Mining read the “Mining” section and instead of dropping or selling the ore keep them, that is if your smithing is low as well. When you get about 500 or 1000 of both tin and copper smelt them at a furnace to make bronze bars. Smith the bars at an anvil with a hammer and make the best thing you can make and sell it at the general store.

Do the same once you can make iron stuff instead all you have to mine is iron, once you can make steel stuff you’ll have to start mining coal as well as iron. Mine coals at Barbarian Village, there are four rocks there, pick a good world with no one or one person there and mine, I recommend you use a rune pickaxe so you can mine it faster. Once you have collected some iron as well, smelt both the coal and iron into steel bars.

Once again make the best thing you can make, when you are able to make steel plate-bodies I recommend you high alchemy them if you can. If not just sell them to people or the general store. If you high alchemy them you will get good magic experience as well and good money.

Keep making steel plate-bodies and you smithing should go up fast. You can make other things with mithril, adamant or rune when you reach that stage you may, but that would be slow so if you want fast leveling keep making steel plate-bodies.

Uhmm “500 or 1000 of both iron and copper smelt them at a furnace to make bronze bars” Dont you mean tin instead of IRON.
For iron bars you only need iron ore. TO make a bronze bar you need both copper & Tin. so.. 1,000 copper and 1,000 tin ores=500 bronze bars. Just a small error..

what does that have to do with anything? “they shouldnt make sara sword so expensive because it got the same stat as abyssal whip and u can wear extra shield with the whip and i dont care about rare items with low stat and cost alot there for showoff i only care for stats and u are stupid if u think rare stuff is better than stats thats only for noobs they should make sara sword cheaper” thats just lamesauce and whips are slower and hit less damage and their spec sucks balls. the sara sword is better because in the spec you shoot lightning bolts at your opponent
