Fist of Guthix Strategies and Tips

Hello RuneScape Fans! Fist of Guthix is a sophisticated new PvP game where people have to be smart about how they go about it. There are two rounds, a round where you try to kill your target, and a round where you try to stay alive as long as you can. People can come up with many strategies for this game, but I will show you some of mine. (Yes they work because I use them, and I have a ranking of 2,105)

Attacking Your Opponent

The first tip for attacking your opponent is to charge straight through to the other side, where your opponent starts. For example, if you start on the east side, then go straight through the middle to the west side. Many people hide there and therefore are successful if you wait there for them to come.

The second tip is for low levels. If you just started playing RuneScape, go into Fist of Guthix wearing full bronze and an a staff. Use your best spell in there, so that you can train magic very easily. When you get to level 41 magic, if you are a pure, you’ll be a lvl 28 combat. That way, you can kill your opponent with air blasts, and start ranking up all those tokens. If people start trying to kill you when you’re hunting them, don’t waste your bandages, because you will always respawn at the edge of the arena.

The third tip is to use many different kinds of attacks inside the arena. Magic and ranged are very good in there, and suggest ranged if your range level is 60 or more. Use mithril arrows if you can afford them, because you will get most of your arrows back after every match. Usually, you will hit 10s or more on your opponent.

Staying Alive As Long As Possible During Defense

When you get the stone, and its your turn to get hunted, you walk around the 10 charges area, not going into the middle. When they spot you, and attack you with mage or ranged, right before the arrow/mage hits you, teleport to the center. That way, it makes it harder to be found.

Second, use the houses to your advantage. Teleport inside the house, then go out of the room away from your hunter. Stay in the 15 charges zone, and when they find you, either go into the house again, or go back to the middle. Try to get at least 1.2K charges. That way, you will probably win, unless you’re fighting against a higher level.

Third, if you want to get charges early, then go to the center, then move around in the center so your opponent can’t find you as easily.

What to Buy with Your Tokens

When you get up to 200 tokens, buy a rune gauntlet, then sell it in the Grand Exchange for market price, about 75K. Keep repeating and you’ll be really rich!
