Five Best Items to be Alched in RuneScape (F2p and P2p)
Some of you might still curious about what are the items that will only cause few loss when you’re doing High Level Alchemy to increase your magic exp. My guide will show you five items for both F2p and P2p that will only cause you very little loss of money.
High Alchemy is the easiest way to train magic because by putting your noted items at the same point as the high alchemy spell in the inventory, all you need is to double click on your noted items to have your magic experience increased. Many players do this while doing other things like watching movie or even when hanging out with people in real world.
The experience you can get from here’s also great. You can get up to 130,000 xp within an hour if you do this method without stopping at all. The place where the most ‘alcher’ do this is at Grand Exchange.
However, many people find it expensive to do this magic training as you will lose money if you buy the items in Grand Exchange and high alched them. Many people lose about 200 coins, 300 coins or even 500 coins because they simply don’t know what are the items that will cause a little loss instead of pretty big loss.
I’ve did a research on Grand Exchange and found 5 best items to be alched both for P2P and F2P. This is the calculation I made today and assuming that the Nature Runes is bought from Grand Exchange at 250 coins. Here are they:
For P2P :
1. Air Battlestaff :
Grand Exchange Price : 9,039 gp.
High Alchemy Price : 9,300 gp.
Money Earned (- Nature Runes) : 9,050 gp.
Money Earned : +11 gp.
2. Water Battlestaff :
Grand Exchange Price : 9,132 gp.
High Alchemy Price : 9,300 gp.
Money Earned (- Nature Runes) : 9,050 gp.
Money Loss : 52 gp.
3. Forinthry Brace (5) :
Grand Exchange Price : 2,366 gp.
High Alchemy Price : 2,520 gp.
Money Earned (- Nature Runes) : 2,270 gp.
Money Loss : 96 gp.
4. Red D’hide Vambrace :
Grand Exchange Price : 2,016 gp.
High Alchemy Price : 2,160 gp.
Money Earned (- Nature Runes) : 1,910 gp.
Money Loss : 106 gp.
5. Binding Necklace :
Grand Exchange Price : 712 gp.
High Alchemy Price : 855 gp.
Money Earned (- Nature Runes) : 605 gp.

Final Words & Tips
You will need about 13 million xp to get to level 99 magic. Assuming that you start from level 55 (200,000 xp) , you will need to alch 196,523 Items. Assuming that you’re alching without stopping, you’ll alch about 2000 Items per hour. So, it will takes about 96 hours to reach level 99 with this method.
If you’re playing about 4 hours per day, it will take about 24 days to reach your objective. On the other hand, if you’re a hardcore player and play for 12 hours in a day, you will reach your objective within 8 days. In the end, you’ll get about 2,161,753 Coins profit if you’re alching Air Battlestaff all the time or lose 13,756,610 Coins if you’re alching Rune Sword in F2P.
Those are the items that will only cause you a little loss of money or even earn you money. Note that the price is taken on the day this article is published, the real price will be slightly or even much different so you’ll need to adapt with it.
It’s recommended that you buy more than one type item on the list as most of them will take sometimes to have its order completed (up to 24 hours). Also keep a keen eye on the price in Grand Exchange, when the price of an item is down so hard, stock up on them by buying as many as you can.

Lol, yeah.. the majority of them are crappy because they’re prioritizing views instead of quality. But you’ll find some of Runescape writers here write decent and detailed guide, most of them listed in popular articles even though that list will lists some of crappy guides as well.

P2P has way better stuff obviously, but if you mine your own Rune essence, then make your own Nature Runes you can make some serious profit! Another Very good article with lots of facts and statistics.
