Five Great Free Mmorpg Alternatives to RuneScape

I’m a level 75 Runescape F2P player and I’ve been playing with this game for about 6 weeks. However, 6 weeks of playing it has made me bored a little bit. That’s why I searched on the web about other MMORPGs that will be as fun as Runescape. After few hours, I’ve finally found 5 Free MMORPGs that are totally worth playing. Here are they :

1. Free Realms

This Social MMORPG is a casual and humorous game that can be played by all age. Unlike Runescape, this game is simple and the objectives in this game won’t make you as addicted as Runescape. It’s best used to hang out with new friends in a fun virtual world. 

2. Second Life

This game is much more mature than Runescape. It’s focused on social interaction instead of missions. It’s widely known as the best place to know new people, hang out with them, or probably to get a new date. The installation file is only 20MB but you’ll need a DSL connection or better to play this game well.

3. FlyFF

Like Free Realms, this is a Social MMORPG. You can interact with other while playing or fighting. Unlike Runescape, you can beat other player within short time if you have learned the trick to do it. It has better community than Runescape.

4. Perfect World

Compared with other MMORPGs above, this game has much better graphic. This game also contains a lot of quests, armors, skills, and areas that will make you addicted for long time, just like Runescape. However, you will need to download a large installation file of this game before you can play it.

5. Ragnarok

This game has a lot of quests, skills, and areas just like Runescape. This game in my opinion is the closest one to resemble Runescape. Like Perfect World, you will need to download a large file first before you can play it. Most of the players came from Asia and Australia which made this game pretty unknown for American or European.

I wanted to add World Of Warcraft and Guild Wars but they’re not free MMORPG. There are also several MMORPGs that you can try like : Shadowtale, MapleStory, Rappelz, RunesOfMagic, Sword Of The New World, Florensia, or ArchLord. I haven’t play them but my friends said they’re good. I hope you liked them.

After playing some MMORPGs, I’ve decided that no other games could beat Runescape greatness. Its graphic might be bad for some people but for me the game system is the best I could ever find on the Internet. I will still play Runescape but I will play other MMORPGs just to avoid boredom with Runescape.
